Student pages and teacher pages differ signficantly.

The teacher page includes the following components: Topical hook, possible inquiry-oriented questions, procedures for the investigation, example of data investigation, example of analysis of data, example of presentation of findings, and possible new questions resulting from the findings.

The student page contains only the hook. While at times the teacher might be required to assist student by directly providing information, such as that provided in the teacher page, the teacher page is provided merely as a guide for leading the Web Inquiry Project.
